Skyrocketing up the Super League standings, the Green Giants should be smelling a golden chance on Wednesday night.
In fact, along with opening June with a thumping 3-0 victory at home against Shenzhen, Jordi Vinyals’ side are unbeaten in each of their last six straight domestic appearances – a run that stems back to May 14th.
With their extended purple patch underlined by an action-packed 3-2 win against Beijing Guoan, the one-time Barcelona coach will be excited by his side’s free-scoring displays in the final third.
Notching 16 goals on their six-match unbeaten run, Zhejiang have also bagged a trio of strikes in back-to-back appearances on home soil.
On the flip side, heading into the international break with a lively 3-2 loss at home against Cangzhou on June 9th, Meizhou Hakka are tipped as a real relegation contender in 2023.
