The England internationals who could be set for a blockbuster move away from the Premier League this

While West Ham skipper Declan Rice might remain heavily linked with a potential move to Arsenal this summer, it appears that some England internationals could be heading on a shock European adventure.

Although the Premier League might have broken a string of financial records over the past two transfer windows, the rest of Europe’s elite are expected to break the bank this summer.

While Jude Bellingham’s potential move to Spanish icons Real Madrid might be stealing many of the headlines, it appears that a handful of other England internationals could be heading abroad.

With clubs from across the continent already planning and negotiating behind the scenes, we have taken a glance at the English stars who could be heading for the Premier League exit

ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Harry Kane – Tottenham

While Erling Haaland might have continued to steal most of the Premier League’s headlines this season, the Norwegian record-breaker is not the only striking superstar who has enjoyed a stellar campaign in England’s top-flight.

Eventually bagging what was a sensational consolation strike as Tottenham suffered a 3-1 loss at home against Brentford last weekend, Harry Kane has now bagged 28 Premier League strikes this season and has racked up 12 goals in just his previous 11 appearances for club and

country.

However, with Spurs now facing the real possibility of missing out on European football

entirely this month, they are also yet to appoint a permanent replacement for Antonio Conte.

With there once again growing speculation that Kane is keen on starting a new adventure away from north London, it is no secret that Daniel Levy does not want to sell his attacking icon to a direct Premier League rival.

While Manchester United might have remained heavily linked with a blockbuster move for the 29-year-old this summer, it has also been suggested that the likes of Bayer Munich and PSG are keeping tabs on Kane’s situation.

In fact, GOAL reported last week that the French heavyweights have already reached out to Kane’s representatives over a potential move to the French capital ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek – Chelsea

With it no secret that the Stamford Bridge hierarchy are planning a major overhaul this summer in a bid to slash their bumper wage bill, it appears that Ruben Loftus-Cheek is inching closer to the west London exit.

Once again struggling to cement his place in either Graham Potter or Frank Lampard’s starting XI, the 27-year-old has made just a pair of Premier League starts since back on March 4th.

Soon to enter the final 12 months of his deal in SW6 and with no signs of an extension on the horizon, it has been suggested that both parties have accepted that Chelsea’s academy

graduate will be on the move this summer.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano stated over the weekend that Loftus-Cheek remains one of AC Milan’s top targets as the Italian icons plan for a summer rebuild following their Champions League semi-final exit last week.

Likewise, with The Guardian reporting that negations have already taken place and are going well behind the scenes, the 10-cap international is desperate to complete a shock Serie A switch when the window reopens.

With a deal expected to be completed before the end of the month, the 27-year-old will also have the opportunity to work with former Chelsea teammates Fikayo Tomori and Oliver Giroud in Milan.

Jesse Lingard – Nottingham Forest

Claiming what was a famous 1-0 victory against Arsenal over the weekend and officially extending on their Premier League status, Nottingham Forest have continued to impress many over the past month.

However, really breaking the bank over the past two transfer windows and coming under some rather public scrutiny, it is fair to say that Jesse Lingard’s move to the City Ground has been a real nightmare.

Speculated to be earning in the region of £120,000-per-week after signing a one-year deal with the Premier League returners, the former Manchester United ace has failed to record a single top-flight strike this season.

Not even included in Steve Cooper’s match-day squad against Arsenal over the weekend, Lingard has played just three minutes since a second-half appearance against Tottenham on March 11th.

With Forest reportedly making it clear that they will not be offering the 30-year-old a new deal in Nottingham, Lingard appears destined for a move away from the Premier League this summer.

Along with continued speculation over a potential shock move to Turkey during the January transfer window, The Nottingham Post suggested last week that Besiktas have registered their interest in the 32-cap England international.
