31 JULY 2019 UEFA Champions League : Kalju vs Celtic

Updated: Jul 30, 2019

Date : 31 JULY 2019

Time : 01 : 00 AM

Match : Nomme kalju vs Celtic

Prediction : 0:2

As expected, Celtic rolled over Nomme Kalju 5-0 in the Champions League second qualifying round, first leg. The Hoops’ job is done, but, no doubt, they want to record yet another win over the Estonian champions as that will give them yet another confidence boost. Despite the fact that coach Neil Lennon is likely to mix the squad against Nomme Kalju, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the Scottish champions. Leigh Griffiths, who found the net in the 5-0 win over Roman Kozhukhovskyi’s troops.

The Estonians face an uphill task in Tuesday’s football match and we do not believe that they are capable of making a miracle in the Champions League second qualifying round, return leg. Yet another man to keep an eye on in the away side will be Ryan Christie, who scored a brace in the first leg.

HIGHLIGHTED PLAYER (SCOTT SINCLAIR):

At the age of nine, Scott Sinclair joined Bristol Rovers youth school and seven years later he signed a deal with Chelsea. However, the winger played no more than five league games for Chelsea as he spent a big part of his career on loan at Plymouth, QPR, Charlton, Crystal Palace, Birmingham City, Wigan Athletic, WBA and Aston Villa. He played for Swansea City between 2010 and 2012, scoring 28 goals in 82 league appearances for the Welsh outfit.

On 19 May, 2015 Sinclair signed a permanent deal with Aston Villa, but he failed to impress in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign. He scored only two goals in 21 league appearances for the team and the Villans eventually dropped to the Championship.

The Aston Villa winger, who is capable of playing on both sides of the field, has 7 caps for England U21 and it has to be noted that he made 4 appearances for Great Britain, scoring one goal for Team GB. Scott Sinclair was born in Bath, England on 25 March, 1989.

HIGHLIGHTED TEAM (CELTIC):

The Celtic Football Club boasts a proud over 100-year long history which has made The Bhoys a global brand thanks to their unprecedented social awareness that dates to the very beginnings of this Scottish club. Celtic was founded in 1887 with the purpose of alleviating poverty in the immigrant Irish population in the East End of Glasgow by raising money to help their fellow citizens.

The charity legacy continues to this day with Celtic still preserving their charitable traditions through the Celtic FC Foundation. The Celts play their home matches at Celtic Park in front of 60,000 people. One of the two most successful football clubs in Scotland with 47 Scottish League Championship titles to their name, Celtic have a long-standing fierce rivalry with Rangers, with the clubs known as the Old Firm.

European Cup winners from season 1966-67 and runners-up two years later, Celtic have been regular in European competitions since their first appearance in 1962-63. Their other most standout results have been runners-up in the EUFA Cup in 2003 and Intercontinental Cup in 1967.
