November 11th: Saturday’s Football Accumulator – 6/1

While November’s international break might be fast approaching, we have another stacked domestic schedule throughout Saturday.

For those of you who are looking to stick on a Saturday acca, we have found a trio of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for this weekend.

Saturday, November 11th

BST 15:00 Leeds vs Plymouth

While Leeds might have come under a huge amount of scrutiny last season as they lost their Premier League status, Saturday’s hosts are enjoying a stellar Championship romp this time around. Last seen putting in a stellar display away at runaway leaders Leicester, Daniel Farke’s side men secured a 1-0 victory and the mood in their camp should be at a red-hot high. Tipped as a leading contender to make an immediate top-flight return this year, the former Norwich boss will be calling on his squad to make another statement here. Signing off October with a 4-1 win against Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield, Leeds have won five of their previous six appearances. With that extended purple patch stemming all the way back to September 30th, the Whites have also gained a reputation for their success at Elland Road.

Including a 3-0 victory against Watford, Farke’s side have won each of their previous four contests at Elland Road by an aggregate score of 10-2. On the flip side, while Plymouth might have gained a string of plaudits last season as they stormed their way to a Championship return, Saturday’s guests are looking over their shoulder at a looming relegation scrap.

Despite being last seen clinging to a remarkable 3-3 draw against Middlesbrough, the Devon-based outfit have secured just a single win from any of their previous seven appearances.

Tip: Crysencio Summerville to score anytime @ 7/5

15:00 Grimsby vs Morecambe

Losing their League One status last season, many were wondering if Morecambe would show any signs of a hangover this time around. However, flying out of the traps since opening the 2023/24 campaign, Saturday’s guests have skyrocketed their way into the play-off spots and they now sit just three points adrift of finding a route into the automatic promotion places. Last seen making an immediate return to winning ways as they extended on their FA Cup adventure thanks to a 2-1 victory against Lincoln, Derek Adams’ men have continued to gain a string of plaudits. Along with signing off October with a stellar 4-1 romp at home against AFC Wimbledon, Morecambe have now won six of their previous seven appearances across all formats. With that purple patch stemming all the way back to a 1-1 draw against Accrington Stanley on October 3rd, Adams’ men will also be excited by their continued success on the road. In fact, the Shrimps have won four of their last five contests outside of Lancashire. While Morecambe might be enjoying a major League One flurry, the same cannot be said for a struggling Grimsby. Enduring what has become a major fourth-tier struggle this season, Saturday’s hosts are tipped to be at the heart of a relegation scrap. Losing each of their previous four League Two showdowns by an aggregate score of 9-4, we are expecting an away double chance here.

Tip: Morecambe double chance @ 8/11

17:45 Bournemouth vs Newcastle

Suffering what could be a costly Champions League blow away at Borussia Dortmund earlier in the week as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat, Eddie Howe’s side are now facing what appears to be an uphill battle in their bid to clinch a knockout stage ticket. Nevertheless, last seen in Premier League action landing a hugely controversial 1-0 victory at home against title contenders Arsenal, the Magpies should be smelling a golden chance here. With their sights set on snatching another top-four finish this season, Howe will be looking to get one over on his former employers on Saturday evening. Extending on their EFL Cup adventure away at Manchester United earlier in the month and punching their quarter-final ticket as they claimed a 3-0 romp at Old Trafford, Newcastle should be relishing a trip to the south coast this weekend. With Bournemouth at the heart of a major Premier League nightmare, Saturday’s hosts find themselves battling it out in the drop zone. Last seen putting in a woeful performance away at defending champions Manchester City as they eventually slumped to a routine 6-1 drumming, Andoni Iraola finds mounting pressure on his shoulders. In fact, Bournemouth have lost six of their last seven showdowns against Premier League opposition – a run that stems back to September 17th. Gaining a reputation for their glaring defensive issues, we are backing an away victory here.

Tip: Newcastle win @ 7/10
