Race 1: Chevalier Aluminium Engineering Handicap

#9 Super Axiom has shown plenty of early ability in his trials, especially in his latest at Happy Valley when he ran home comfortably under his own steam. He can make his presence felt on debut for trainer David Hayes. #8 Romantic Trove caught the eye at the trials and he deserves forgiveness for his debut ninth. #2 Amazing Rocky returns to the Sha Tin straight. His debut third was impressive and he can be competitive if he replicates that run here. #7 Rhapsody is limited but is a winner already. Don't discount.

Race 2: Chevalier Car Dealership Handicap

#12 Blazing Partners has gone close this term. His best run this season came over this course and distance and he's now at a mark he can win off. #3 Nuremberg returns following a solid trial effort at Conghua. Chances are he goes forward from the good gate and from there, sticks on for prize money. #1 Destin has the big weight but does step down to Class 5. Zac Purton hops up and he bears close watching. #10 Adonis gets the weight relief with Jerry Chau's apprentice claim and the inside gate will give him his chance.

Race 3: Chevalier Construction Handicap

#6 Resolute is a smart, lightly raced galloper from the Tony Millard yard. He's a dirt winner already this term who with gate one, can snag another. #3 Victory In Hand is only a small horse but he does have plenty of ability. He took to the dirt well last start and it wouldn't shock to see him go one better here. #4 Jade Phoenix has done well on the turf across eight starts and on Sunday he makes his dirt debut. He's worth including as his trials on the dirt have been sound. #11 Star Superior is next best with no weight to carry.

Race 4: Chevalier E & M Engineering Handicap

#2 Czarson is a three-time runner-up, who is, slightly unlucky not to already be a winner. Zac Purton takes over riding duties now and this is his race to lose. #8 Gunnar cruised to an easy four and a quarter length make all victory last time out. He steps up to Class 3 now but he gets his chance should the same tactics be employed. #1 Utopia Life's last run in Class 3 returned a win. He can roll forward from the good draw which should give him every opportunity. #7 All For South has done well in both of his only two starts. He bears close watching.

Race 5: Chevalier Environmental Engineering Handicap

#13 Righteous Win isn't hopeless and now, from the inside draw, he just might be worth taking a chance on to pinch this, especially with no weight on his back if they do elect to roll forward. #10 Master Hero impressed with a debut second a fortnight ago. Joao Moreira hops up now for the suspended Vincent Ho and he remains a big player with plenty of upside. #2 Glorious Lover has the ability it's just a matter of putting it together. #7 Leading Fortune can box on from the good draw with solid form behind him.

Race 6: Chevalier Healthcare Investment Handicap

#10 Winning Steed has found his groove now following a close-up fifth last time out. He displayed immense ability in the trials and he's now starting to realise it. #2 Kasi Farasi could roll forward from the good draw with the apprentice's weight relief and although he's not been performing well, it wouldn't surprise to see him turn it around as he has done previously. #7 Mercurial narrowly missed at his latest. He deserves consideration. #8 Robot Warrior is third-up and now and looks set ready to peak.

Race 7: The Chevalier Cup Handicap

#11 Lucky Express closed off nicely last start in the Panasonic Cup to finish a close-up second to Buddies. He'll relish the step up to the mile now and with a clean run he can win. #1 Buddies will roll forward from the inside draw and try to make all. He's gone from strength-to-strength this term and deserves respect once again. #12 Sky Darci is looking for his third consecutive win. He's on-the-up and is not without a chance again, although he does step into Class 1 for the first time which is not easy. #10 General's Delight is better than his recent record suggests. He can figure.

Race 8: Chevalier Lifts & Escalators Handicap

#4 Big Fortune gets a handy bit of weight off his back from gate five which should give him every opportunity. His forward-style of racing regularly affords him every chance. #1 Lockheed finally got off the mark at his 24th attempt last start. Now that he's done it once he might just know how to do it again. #11 Beluga is a two-time winner from four starts. The wide gate and class rise makes life difficult but he is a considerable talent nonetheless. #10 Juneau Park is a two-time winner from seven. The draw suits and he's capable.

Race 9: Chevalier Property Development & Operations Handicap

#14 Chevalier Prince returned in excellent order first-up with a narrow defeat over the course and distance. He should be fitter now and ready to fire with Joao Moreira up. #2 Perfect To Great grabbed second last time out. He is capable of going one better here for the in-form championship leader Caspar Fownes. #1 Mr Aldan's last run on the dirt was too bad to be true. He is better than that and it wouldn't surprise to see him to turn it around. #7 Awe is able and has the benefit of two runs under his belt.

Race 10: Chevalier Property Investment Handicap

#6 Healthy Happy won well on debut, which is not an easy task for a PPG on a relatively high rating. He looks to have come on from that win nicely with a trial under his belt and he just needs to handle the added furlong on offer here. #3 Shadow Hero is a dual Australian G1 winner who makes long-awaited Hong Kong debut. He has the class and if he's acclimatised well then it wouldn't surprise to see him perform well on debut. #12 Water Diviner is a five-time winner. He needs a lot to go his way but is proven in this grade. #7 Beauty Rush made all nicely last time out and he's drawn gate one in his bid for back-to-back wins. Must respect.
